This is a side view of a crude mould which is made to make a basic shape and from there we will cut and carved the material to give us a very realistic shape of the RCV..
The picture above shows the
Durastone being poured into the mould. Above and to the right you can see the RCV shape emerging.

Here you can see a temporary mould which has been made so that a crude shape for the wheel can be made. The material being used is the same material that all of our sculptures are made from, it is a durastone called stone cast clay and further down the cast wheel that has been hollowed out.
The picture below show the basic shape when removed from the crude mould. From this we will carve a more detailed shape.
